Forward with Purpose

Welcome to the Ascend NJ Inspiring Across Generations Conference! Our theme this year, Forward with Purpose, is especially meaningful in a time of extraordinary change. Technology, particularly the rapid proliferation of Artificial Intelligence, is reshaping how we work, lead, and prepare for what comes next. Alongside that excitement comes uncertainty, challenging each of us to adapt while staying grounded in what matters most.

In moments of change, I'm reminded that our greatest strength has never been technology alone. It is people: the relationships we build, the wisdom we share across generations, and the communities we create together. Each of us has benefited from those who opened doors before us, and each of us has an opportunity to open doors for those who follow.

That is the spirit of Inspiring Across Generations. As you engage with today's conversations, I encourage you to listen with curiosity, share openly, and consider not only what you can learn, but what you can contribute. What knowledge, perspective, or encouragement can you pass forward? And what impact do you want to leave behind?
